Director of Business Affairs, Disney/ABC

Lynnore Thames puts her television and radio degree as well as her law degree into action as she works with ABC News and Lincoln Square Productions executives to negotiate various production deals, including book options, holding, shopping and collaboration deals, and licensing and output agreements.

After college, Thames first worked at the Altanta Olympic games before moving to the Communications and Advocacy Department for the Women’s Sports Foundation, which is a national non-profit dedicated to increasing sports and fitness opportunities for girls and women. This work led her to seriously entertain the idea of attending law school.

In between law school and the Women’s Sports Foundation, she was offered the opportunity to work for ABC News and went to New York Law School at night. She soon transferred to ESPN.com to work as a contracts administrator in the legal department and that led to an offer to work at ABC in New York City in their rights and clearances department.

Thames stays closely connected with Ithaca College, serving on the alumni board and attending networking events.
