I desire to be a PA to be able to advocate and provide quality care to those in marginalized communities. Once I become a PA, I would like to continue advocating by launching an organization that educates the importance of wellness and healthy living as well as start a non-profit clinic for those living in areas lacking access to adequate healthcare. I chose the Ithaca College PA Program due to its emphasis on promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the healthcare system. As an undergraduate alumni, I know this program will give me the necessary tools to be an exemplary healthcare provider. As a PA student, I am looking most forward to growing academically and professionally. As a future PA, I am looking most forward to using the knowledge I've learned, my passion for service and my love for medicine to serve those who bear the brunt of inequality in our healthcare system.
