My experiences have shown me the importance of listening and respecting all patients, and I have seen how PAs strongly advocate and help their patients. This has become such an important topic to me, and that is why I want to become a PA. Behavioral health and self-care are both extremely important focuses. These aspects of the program were what made me choose Ithaca College. I am most looking forward to bridging the gap between accessible healthcare and the underserved populations. I love helping people, and I believe that it is important that everyone has an equal opportunity to receive the optimal medical care that fits their needs.
