I want to be a physician assistant because I want to provide quality care and help people live happier and healthier lives. The level of training, autonomy, and flexibility of a PA also aligns perfectly with my personal and professional goals. I chose the Ithaca College PA program because of their focus on under-served and rural healthcare, as well as their commitment to an equity framework. The passion, pride, and excitement shown by the faculty and staff made me confident in the direction and authenticity of the program. I am looking forward to being intellectually challenged and gaining hands on experience as a PA student. As a future PA, I am excited to provide quality and equitable care, be an advocate for my patients, and make a positive impact on people's lives.
