I want to be an advocate for the people who do not have access to medicine. Becoming a PA-C will allow me to empower others to take care of their health whilst making a difference in communities who are not given adequate resources to aide in their health. What drew me to Ithaca College is their emphasis on diversity in medicine and being the voice of the underserving/rural area. In medicine, these are the people who are overlooked and the education I will receive at IC PA program will help be apart of fixing the problem. As a PA student, I look forward to learning everything there is to be a better clinician. As a future PA, I look forward to working with the underserving community and being a voice for their healthcare.
