Becoming a Physician Assistant will allow me to practice medicine and provide healthcare to those that need it the most. I believe that PA's are essential in increasing access to healthcare to underserved communities and I am looking forward to being apart of that effort. I chose the Ithaca College PA program largely due to the faculty and staff that I encountered during my interview. I could tell that the faculty truly cared about creating a welcoming and supportive environment for learners to thrive. I was also attracted by the programs unique focus on behavioral and mental health. I am looking forward to clinical rotations and serving my community in the future as a compassionate and competent healthcare provider.
