I want to be a PA to empower individuals to have a better understanding of, and relationship, with their health. I want to work with people to make changes to better their overall health and wellbeing. I chose the Ithaca College PA program because its mission aligns with the type of provider I aim to be, which is one who understands the meaning of equity in providing care and who wants to bring that care to communities most in need of it. As a PA student, I look forward to learning about myself as a future provider, and how to best serve others. As a future PA, I look forward to developing professional, trusting relationships with patients and working toward health goals for them that we set together.
