I love how the PA profession is a flexible career so that I can switch specialties as I please. I believe that this made me want to enter the profession in order to be able to obtain several skills in several specialties. I attended Ithaca College during my undergrad, and I love how open minded and friendly the community was. Ithaca made me feel very welcomed and I wanted to come back to a comfortable environment where I know a safe space will always be established. I am looking forward to learning all of the different areas of practice (such as Osteopathic, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics etc... ) then being able to apply it to real life scenarios. In addition, as a future PA I am looking forward to educating patients about healthcare in order to break down the negative connotations of medicine.
