There are many reasons why I want to be a PA, including to work to improve health equity and access to care. I want to work as part of a greater healthcare team to help take care of and heal my community. I chose the Ithaca College PA program because of their more holistic view of us as applicants and as learners. In addition, their focus on diversity and adaptability sets them apart. I am excited to learn alongside my professors and classmates from their varied experiences. As a future PA, I am looking forward to forming trusting relationships and connections with my patients, and to continue as a lifelong learner.
