I want to bridge the divide between inequity and patient care. I also have a love for diagnostic medicine and being in a position to take care of patients on a more interpersonal level. This program aligned with my common goals and values. It was also an excellent location and gave me an opportunity to branch out but still have the availability to visit family and friends relatively easily. I feel a lot of undergrad is very fundamental and is a necessity but does not give you the opportunity to really apply and adapt learning into one's field of work. In the future, I hope to continue education and maybe even teach future PA students.
