The Anthropology Program houses the Omicron Chapter of Lambda Alpha, the national anthropology honor society. To become a member, a student must:
- be a major
- have completed 60 credit hours
- have an overall GPA of 3.5 or better
- be involved in anthropological activities
- be in good standing in the Anthropology Program and Ithaca College.
Each semester, anthropology faculty will send an invitation to apply for membership to majors who meet these requirements. Upon completion of the application, candidates will be inducted into the chapter at the end of each semester.
