Applications for admission to the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance for Fall 2024 have closed.
Applications for Fall 2025 will open in September 2024. Please check our website for more information, including updated requirements and deadlines later this summer.
Step 1: Apply to Ithaca College via the Common App.
Step 2: Apply to the Center for Theatre and Dance by submitting an Acceptd application with the required pre-screen materials.
Step 3: Apply for financial aid.
NOTE: Both the Common App and pre-screen must be received in order for your materials to be evaluated.
Schedule Your Audition or Interview: After reviewing your pre-screen materials, the Center for Theatre and Dance will invite successful applicants to schedule an audition or interview. We typically let applicants know if they are invited to audition or interview on a rolling basis starting in October.
Wait for Your Decision: The hardest part! Offers of admission typically go out on a rolling basis starting March 1. We appreciate your patience!

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants to B.F.A Acting, B.F.A. Musical Theatre, and B.F.A. Stage Management may not apply Early Decision due to the timing of the audition and interview process.
Early Action is not available to applicants for any Center for Theatre and Dance degree program.
