HOW TO REQUEST AN IC MUSICIAN

1. Fill out the form below with the information for your event. The form is submitted to the Community Engagement Assistant. The Community Engagement Assistant will acknowledge the receipt of your request within one business day and may contact you with further questions to clarify your needs.

2. The Community Engagement Assistant will reach out to the appropriate students, ensembles, or professors to find musicians that meet your criteria.

3. You will be contacted by the Community Engagement Assistant regarding the status of your request within a week of your submission.

4. Once a student or ensemble has been found the Community Engagement Assistant will place the requestor in contact with the student representative to make the final arrangements and negotiate fees, if applicable.

Please note: Students selected for paid events are handpicked and recommended by their professor.

MUSIC IN THE COMMUNITY REQUEST FORM

The Ithaca College School of Music is excited to collaborate with community members, schools, and local organizations that are interested in having student musicians perform or teach at their location. Please fill out the form below to request a solo musician or ensemble. This information will be posted for current Ithaca College School of Music students only. The students will respond to the poster directly to negotiate fees and go over details.
