Dannielle Bowman's work focuses on the way that people occupy space and time. Her recent photographic work, titled Here, Now is engaged with ideas around landscape, time and the unknown aspects of personal and cultural histories.
In her Diversity Emerging Artist lecture, Bowman will discuss her current work, older work and everything in between.
Dannielle Bowman (b. 1989) is a visual artist working with photography and video. Bowman received a BFA from the Cooper Union and an MFA in Photography from the Yale School of Art, where she was awarded the Richard Benson Prize. Bowman is currently an Artist-in-Residence at the Camera Club of New York. She has also had residencies with the Center for Photography at Woodstock and PICTURE BERLIN, in Berlin, Germany. Exhibiting her photographs in the United States and internationally, including David Zwirner gallery in NYC. Bowman lives and works in New York.
