|Class of 2013, Integrated Marketing Communications|
"The Cornell in Washington, D.C. program was one of the most valuable experiences of my college career. The opportunity to intern and conduct research on a topic of interest at the undergraduate level is unparalleled, and I am confident that it gave me a competitive edge.
Working as the Public Policy, Advocacy and Communications Intern with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation enabled me to further my communications experience, as well as explore my interest in public policy.
The classes the program offers are stimulating and engaging, and students have the great fortune of being taught by experts in the field. One particular class, Global Health, Security and Diplomacy--in fact, one of the best class I have ever taken--even inspired me to pursue things I didn't realize I was passionate about, until I took the class.
Many people think of Washington D.C. as a city only for people who have an interest in government or politics. If you participate in this program, though, you will see that Washington, D.C. is a vibrant city, alive with activism and young energy, and that there truly is something for everyone."
