Residence Director

A Residence Director (RD) is a professional staff member who lives on campus and selects, trains and supervises our undergraduate Residential Life staff (Resident Assistants). There are currently 6 RDs on campus. Each RD manages the operational functions of one or more residence halls and/or apartment areas which house from 250 to 700 students. The RD frequently meets individually with students to discuss roommate concerns, transitional issues, and conduct meetings. An RD oversees one or more Residential Learning Communities (RLC) or First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE) halls and chairs departmental committees.

Community Director

The Community Director (CD) has similar responsibilities as a Residence Director. The CD oversees a larger apartment area with responsibility for supervising a community building and an Area Office Operations Assistant.
