Dominick Recckio (CMD, '16) is the Communications Director for the Tompkins County government. In his role he oversees public and media relations, crisis communications, and branding for the County and its 30 departments. Dominick also oversees the streaming operations for all public meetings, he even recently hired another Park School grad to manage video production. After graduation Dominick started his career at the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce where he supported local businesses by selling Chamber memberships, eventually being promoted to manage the organization's community partnerships and communications.
At IC, Dominick served on Student Government, the Bureau of Concerts, and spent time at Newswatch 16 in the Park School. Dominick prides himself on having taken a class in almost every academic building at IC , gaining experience in many different disciplines. Dominick grew his interest in public service and media during his time at Ithaca College and is able to apply the skills he learned in college every day at Tompkins County.
