Before attending Ithaca College, I completed an internship in my hometown of Long Island, NY, at Cleary School for the Deaf. This experience led me to major in speech- language pathology and minor in education studies at Ithaca College. While visiting Ithaca College, I fell in love with the idea of a close- knit community on a campus surrounded by so much beauty. I knew that Ithaca would soon become my home away from home, and after four years I can say it truly did. After graduating, I plan on continuing my education to earn a master’s degree in speech-language pathology.

Some of my favorite moments from Ithaca College were working with clients from the community on campus, at Longview, and Ithaca City School District. I was able to volunteer for the Ithaca College Aphasia Network and Center for Life Skills at Longview, and work with students from different backgrounds. I am so thankful for the knowledge and skills I gained from my professors and even more grateful for the opportunities that Ithaca College offered. Ithaca College was only the beginning of my journey, but I am so happy it’s the path I decided to take.
