To further pursue my passion and dedication for soccer, and with the goal of continuing to play in college, I made a life changing decision to attend a private high school out of state: Don Bosco Preparatory. Being surrounded by the highest level of student athletes meant the school needed top athletic trainers to take care of all the teams. This is when the profession truly resonated with me and aligned with my aspiration to work in a health care setting in my future endeavors.

Athletic training incorporates both my love of sports and my desire to assist fellow athletes with their medical needs. The Ithaca College athletic training program is highly regarded nationally, with an astounding reputation for its clinical education, while also allowing its students to participate in NCAA sports. This was my deciding factor in choosing to join the esteemed program, which afforded me the opportunity to balance the demanding commitments of soccer and my rigorous academics. I would not be where I am today — graduating with a bachelor of science in athletic  training — without the enriching clinical experiences, devoted faculty members, motivated athletes, and ongoing support that this special program grants to its students on a daily basis.
