Julia Kucza- A freshman BMO with Educational Studies major here at Ithaca college. As an Educational Studies major, Julia will be completing the Five-Year master’s degree program in elementary education, so when she graduates from Ithaca college, she will be fully equipped to teach elementary school. She has been working with preschool age students since her freshman year of high school because she was involved with the Early Childhood Education program, where children would come to the high school to work with high school students one-on-one. Over the years, she has worked with over a dozen children closely to prepare them for Kindergarten, improve social skills, or even to just hold a pencil correctly. As a BMO major, she looks forward to working with children and involving music in their everyday lives both inside, and out of the classroom.
