Michael Kushner is a multi-hyphenate actor, photographer, and producer. As an actor, Michael appeared in the pre Broadway tryout of On The Town, and his one man show Moo With Me will be appearing Off Broadway in 2021. As a photographer, Michael is the owner of Michael Kushner Photography, and creator of The Dressing Room Project. His work has been featured in Vogue, The Tony's, The NYTimes, Billboard, Times Square, and more. As a producer, his projects include the award winning Indoor Boys (created by and starring Wesley Taylor and Alex Wyse) as well as XaveMePlease (featured in Frameline43 Festival in San Francisco), for which he was also director of photography. Michael is a founding member of Musical Theatre Factory and served for five years as membership coordinator and resident photographer. He is the proud recipient of the first ever MTF Makers Award. He serves on the advisory boards for Out of the Box Theatrics, Wingspan Arts, and Town Stages. Ithaca College BFA in Musical Theatre. Proud member of AEA.
As a theatre artist, Michael specializes in non-quotidian artistry that inflicts positive change within our theatre community. He plans to do this work with the beautiful artists he meets on a day to day basis.
