Dale Hudson teaches at New York University Abu Dhabi. He is coeditor with Alia Yunis of Reorienting the Middle East: Film and Digital Media Where the Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean Meet (forthcoming, 2023) and a special double issue of Middle East Journal of Culture and Communication on Film and Visual Culture in the Gulf” (2021), author of Vampires, Race, and Transnational Hollywoods (2017), and co-author with Patricia R. Zimmermann of Thinking through Digital Media: Transnational Environments and Locative Places (2015).

He has curated online exhibitions for FLEFF since 2007, has coordinated Film from the Gulf at the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) Film Festival since 2016, and has served as on the board of directors for the Association of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies (AGAPS) since 2017.

Claudia Costa Pederson is Associate Professor of Art History at Wichita State University. She is the author of Gaming Utopia: Ludic Worlds in Art, Design, and Media (2021). Her writings on play, games, digital photography, and techno-ecological art have been published in Afterimage, International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA), Design Automation Conference (DAC), and CHIconference Proceedings.  Her essays have also been published in several anthologies. She received a Warhol Writers Grant in 2022 for her current research and book project on Mexican media art and ecology. Since 2007, she has been a regular contributor to the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF).
