Jenny Pickett transitioned to her new role in the Office of the Vice President as the Associate Director for Operations and Compliance for Student Affairs and Campus Life on October 1, 2025.
In this role, Jenny employs her background of strong organizational and problem-solving skills to overseeing the departmental budget and day-to-day operations, while also coordinating strategic planning for large-scale events such as move-in and convocation. She will also play a central role in advancing the office’s assessment efforts, ensuring that our work remains intentional and data-informed.
Prior to joining the Office of the Vice President, Jenny served as Associate Director in the Office of Residential Life. Among her duties was oversight of large-scale housing initiatives including residential student move in and move out. She was also instrumental in working closely with various office on campus to coordinate the opening and closing of the residence halls, manage the damage inspection process, and plan the summer renovation projects that take place in the residence halls. Pickett had been a part of the Office of Residential Life since her arrival at IC in 2001.
