Inauguration of Ithaca College's 10th President: School of Music, Theatre, and Dance Inaugural Celebration and Showcase and Dessert Reception
Please save the date as we come together to celebrate a new chapter for Ithaca College with the inauguration of our 10th president, La Jerne Terry Cornish, on Saturday, October 1, 2022. We encourage all members of the IC community to attend the celebration, which coincides with Family Weekend, from Friday, September 30, to Sunday, October 2.
In addition to the installation ceremony, inauguration events will include a showcase featuring performances by members of our newly formed School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, a dessert reception, and community fireworks.

Yemeni-Israeli Dance Workshop
Oreet, a native New Yorker who now resides in Philly, has over 20 years of experience in fitness and dance. She also grew up with Yemeni folk and Oriental dance. She is an award-winning performer and holds the titles Bellydancer of the Year, and Middle Eastern Dance Champion of North America, to name a few. Her new passion is educating the world about Jewish Mizrahi dance and it's relevance in Arabic Culture.

Several current IC students will share video performances, and there will be a chance for all participants to join a discussion to express themselves, raise awareness and come together.
