Before earning her Ph.D., Associate Professor Lisa Farman worked in the advertising industry executing social media campaigns for Schick, Staples, and Florida's Natural Orange Juice, and at Ogilvy & Mather as an account supervisor on IBM's "Smarter Planet" campaign. Her research on targeting consumers using personal information (the "creepiness factor" ) is published in academic journals and featured in national media interviews.  She uses these experiences in her research, media planning, and ad campaign courses.  View her profile here.
