Eli Serota is a Director within FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications segment, where he works on the Public Affairs and Crisis & Litigation teams. Eli advises companies navigating their most complex issues at the intersection of public policy, litigation, crisis, media, and cybersecurity.
Eli has worked on a number of notable issues, including supporting a multinational manufacturer with advocacy efforts on proposed regulations with a significant supply chain impact, driving media engagement for two high-profile Supreme Court cases, and guiding a healthcare technology company through a ransomware incident that affected dozens of healthcare providers and public safety infrastructure. These sorts of clients have given Eli the opportunity to work closely with colleagues around the globe and across different sectors.
While at Ithaca, Eli was a President’s Host, Orientation Leader, Resident Assistant, and played on the men’s Club Rugby team. He also honed his communications skills by working with IC’s Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics clubs, and interned for a local congressional campaign in New York’s Southern Tier (NY-23).
