The IMC major is one of Ithaca College’s longest-lasting and most popular interdisciplinary programs. Created as a joint program between the Business School and the Roy H. Park School of Communication, the degree includes the best of both worlds. The communications emphasis comes from the Park School’s Strategic Communications Department, including coursework in advertising, public relations, copywriting, graphic design, and a choice of capstones. The marketing emphasis comes from the Business School’s Marketing Department, including courses in consumer behavior, digital media, marketing analytics, and sales & sales promotion.
