I have taught in the Politics Department at IC since 1988. Initially, my teaching was focused on political institutions and public policy. I have retained a strong interest in politics and policy in the United States while also developing some new courses.
In recent years, I have also offered two courses on the Holocaust. One is a 200 level survey simply entitled The Holocaust. I also offer a seminar, Political Implications of the Holocaust that explores political and ethical issues raised by some of the debates in the vast academic and popular literature on the Holocaust.
