Ellen Atwood is a freshman studying vocal music education at Ithaca College. Ellen is from Dayton, Virginia and is a graduate of Turner Ashby High School where she found her passion for singing through participating in multiple music classes and events. She was very active in her school’s choral department, participating in District and All-state choir for several years. Ellen also enjoyed being involved with the theatre department as a cast member in numerous productions including: Once Upon a Mattress (ensemble), Wonderful Town (ensemble), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee), and Footloose (Rusty). Here at Ithaca College, Ellen is so excited to be studying under Dawn Pierce and growing as a musician. When she is not singing, Ellen enjoys playing piano, spending time with friends, and rowing on Ithaca’s crew team.
