Specialty: Spanish Golden Age Literature and Italian Medieval/Renaissance Literature

Sabatino G. Maglione is professor of Spanish and Italian. In addition to teaching both Italian and Spanish skill courses at all levels, Professor Maglione specializes in Spanish Golden Age Literature and in Italian Medieval and Renaissance Literature. A native Italian, he studied at the University of Siena, and at the University of Madrid,Spain. He received his B.A. in Spanish at Fairleigh Dickinson University, as a winner of the Spanish Scholar Award, and earned his M.A. and Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University. Professor Maglione has taught Italian and Spanish at Penn State and at Dartmouth College. He has authored two books and published several articles in his field.
