Steve Novakovic joined the School of Business in August 2017 as a faculty member in the Finance & International Business department.  He received his MPS (Environmental Economics) from Cornell University, and BS (Applied Economics) from Cornell University.  Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder.  Prior to joining IC, he was an Associate Director at the Office of University Investments in Cornell University.  In this role, he participated in the management and investment of the $6.5B endowment, with a focus on alternative investments (e.g. hedge funds, venture capital funds, private debt funds).

Steve teaches across the Asset Management and Wealth Management tracks within the finance concentration as well as a multitude of mini-courses.  Outside of the classroom, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, playing bridge, racket sports, hockey, and exploring the great outdoors (locally and further afield).
