Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Sponsored Research (CFR-SR), based within the Office of the Provost and also the Division of Philanthropy & Engagement, provides a range of services to maximize both private (corporate and foundation) and public (Federal, State, local) support for Ithaca College.

As a resource to faculty, staff, and administration, the office seeks to facilitate grants that: enrich the learning environment for students; offer professional-development activities to faculty; and support college operations by relieving budget pressure and enabling us to redirect resources to other needs.

Should you be interested in pursuing funding from external sources -- including fellowships and grants from private foundations, corporations, or Federal, State, or local resources -- this office is available to:

  • Facilitate and steward corporate, foundation, and government funding relationships with the college to maximize opportunities for gifts and other resources
  • Recommend opportunities and proactively pursue foundation, corporate, and government prospects that match the academic priorities and interests of programs at IC
  • Provide assistance as needed in fulfilling application requirements

Getting Started

Visit the Office of the Provost's Academic Funding page and submit the "Looking for Funding" form to communicate your needs and to receive relevant funding information. Once the form has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted to discuss funding opportunities, strategies, and next steps.
