Dr. Staurowsky Invited to Speak on the Critical Race Theory Spotlight on the Health of Sports Panel

On Friday, October 15, 2021, Dr. Staurowsky participated on a panel hosted by the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of Chapel-Hill on Critical Race Theory Spotlight on the Health of Sports, which focused on the connection between Critical Race Theory and college sports.  Panelists included Dr. Billy Hawkins (University of Houston); Chelsea Townsend (Founder, C-Town Sports Agency); Gary Charles (Founder, Advancement of Blacks in Sports).   And the program was moderated by Drs. Akila Carter-Francique (San Jose State University) and Dr. Deborah Strohman (University of North Carolina and Founder, Center of Sport Business and Analytics).
