The Ithacan was awarded a Silver Crown Award by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association on March 30, 2022, for overall excellence in 2020-21.
This marks the sixth straight year that The Ithacan has received the honor, the second-highest award in the country from the CSPA. The Ithacan last won a Gold Crown Award, the highest award from the CSPA, in 2016 for overall excellence in 2014-15.
