Timecard Approval Display Changes in IC HR Cloud

Oracle has applied an update to the IC HR Cloud resulting in minor display changes. For timecard approval, line managers will still receive email notifications with time entries. However, these notifications may no longer list time entry amounts.

For accurate timecard review, please go to IC HR Cloud > My Team > Team Timecards to view all timecard information for your direct reports. Once in Team Timecards, you will see the timecard period with the employee’s name listed below. Select the timecard period link to view timecard information for each employee.

To approve/reject the timecard, please select Actions > Approve or Reject.

If you have multiple direct reports, you can approve/reject in bulk by selecting the checkbox next to each time card, selecting Actions, and selecting the appropriate action.

Additionally, you will receive workflow approval in your Worklist (by selecting Tools > Worklist) in IC HR Cloud; however, you will not see time entries on this workflow approval either. To see time entries selected by your employees, please go to Team Timecards.

For Line managers who supervise student employees: You may see time entries for all jobs that you direct reports hold—not just the job you supervise. Please note, when you approve the student’s hours, you are only approving the hours for the job you supervise—not for all job assignments. Prior to payroll, student timecards will still be auto-approved as per the normal college process.
