Tammy Sritecha To Depart Ithaca College

By Reed Pollard, November 9, 2022

Dear Colleagues,

I write to inform you that Tammy Sritecha, Executive Assistant to the Board Secretary, will be leaving Ithaca College effective November 18, 2022 to join the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University as their new Major Gift Associate.  Tammy’s dedication, skills, deep commitment to excellence, and collaborative spirit graced the college over the course of almost ten years.  Based on the short time that I had the opportunity to work directly with her, I can wholeheartedly say that I will miss her.

As some of you might know, Tammy’s Master’s Degree is in Art History and working at a museum was a dream of hers.  This resonance coupled with The Johnson Museum’s mission of making art accessible to all made this opportunity something she felt she could not refuse.

Tammy has contributed to various college units throughout her career at Ithaca College.  She first joined as a temp in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity and later worked in the provost’s office under Provost Kelly, Provost Rifkin, and twice under Interim Provost Petrosino.  She also assisted two Vice Presidents for Finance and Administration.  In 2019 she joined the Ithaca College Board of Trustees Office serving first as the Assistant to the Vice President and Secretary to the Board and later the Executive Assistant to the Secretary to the Board.

She has been such an integral part of the Board Office and has served it and the college so very well. I hope that you will join me in wishing Tammy all the best in this new chapter of her career and congratulating her on achieving a dream.

We will work diligently to ensure that the board office continues to serve the college with excellence upon her departure.

With gratitude for having known and worked with Tammy,

Odalys Diaz Piñeiro

Chief of Staff & Secretary to the Board of Trustees
