We share this message to notify you that the Senior Week Committee has made an official decision to reschedule our annual celebration of the Senior Splash fountain jump, originally planned for Wednesday, May 17, to the new date of Friday, May 19. The decision to shift the date of this much-anticipated event was made with the care and well-being of our students at the forefront, as cold weather is predicted to impact the area on Wednesday. More seasonably warm temperatures are forecasted to return to the area on Friday.
Please be aware that the new date only impacts the fountain jump portion of the festivities. The Senior Splash BBQ portion of the event will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, May 17, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Participation in the BBQ is only for members of the Class of 2023.
The Senior Splash fountain jump festivities will now be held during the afternoon on Friday, May 19, with the jump into the Dillingham Fountains scheduled to begin at approximately 1:45 p.m. ET.
We would like to invite all members of our campus community to come watch the Class of 2023 take the plunge into the fountains and hope you are able to join us during our new date on Friday. The Class of 2023 would love to see their favorite campus community members in attendance to watch them participate in this timeless Ithaca College tradition.
