Carlos Figueroa, PhD. (Politics Department) served as a panelist on the Arts, Humanities and Social Scientists panel as part of the Cornell University Future Faculty Institute, June 7, 2023.

Organized by the Cornell University Graduate School’s Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement (OISE)Future Faculty and Academic Careers, and Office of Postdoctoral Studies, the Future Professors Institute engages graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in workshops, panel discussions, and talks focused on preparing them for faculty careers across institutional types.

The institute is open to all future faculty with a demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, inclusion, access, and equity in academia and has a priority focus on those future faculty from backgrounds historically excluded from and underrepresented in the professoriate.
