Two Lectures by 2019 Nobel Laureate at Ithaca College - Lithium Batteries, Energy Storage and Global Climate Change

Public Transportation:

Take TCAT Bus #11 route.  Get off the bus at Roy Park School (D or H) stop.  From there follow the signs to Textor Hall.

Parking Information:

There are two entrances to Ithaca College campus - from 96B and from Coddington Rd.  Upon entering signs on the information board and in the lawn will guide visitors to the parking lot (O Lot), which is open to the visitors for the lectures.  From the parking lot, more signs will guide the visitors to Textor Hall, where the lectures will be delivered.

In 2019, Professor Stanley Whittingham (SUNY Distinguished Professor, Director of Northeast Center for Chemical Energy Storage at Binghamton, Binghamton University) received a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of lithium-ion batteries.  He will present lectures at Ithaca College on Thursday, October 19 from 4:30 pm (Textor 101) and Saturday, October 21 from 10:30 am (Textor 102).
