Mental Health Art: Paint Pill Bottles with Active Minds At Ithaca College

Like to paint? Need to destress? Need friends who will be willing to talk about mental health with you?

Come to the Active Minds At Ithaca College meeting on Tuesday, January 30th from 6-7 pm to paint pill bottles and de-stigmatize psychiatric medication! We will be meeting in the Cayuga Lake room in Campus Center (next to the Campus Center Dining Hall).

Supplies will be provided, though feel free to bring an extra pill bottle or two if you wish. If bringing your own, please make sure to remove all labels that include identifying medical or personal information.

If you are unable to meet in person with us, but would still like to be a part of the meeting, please email ActiveMindsAtIthacaCollege@gmail.com for a zoom link.

Active Minds at Ithaca College is a chapter student organization aiming to change the conversation around mental health on our campus. We focus heavily on building community, mental health advocacy, de-stigmatization, and education. We meet every other week on Tuesdays from 6-7 pm in Cayuga Lake in Campus Center. If you would like to become a member and get on our email list for mental health based opportunities, please register with us on Engage: https://ithaca.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/ic_activeminds

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact John D. Witkiewicz at ActiveMindsAtIthacaCollege@gmail.com or 607.274.3136. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
