BEA notes the organization received and reviewed more than 1,900 combined student and faculty entries from more than 300 participating schools around the world. All eligible student entries must have been produced between December 15, 2022 and December 15, 2023.

WICB received an award in two categories of BEA's sports competition:

Each fall, WICB broadcasts live play-by-play radio coverage of Ithaca College Football. The award-winning entry was a play-by-play stretch from the second quarter of the Ithaca v. WICB Sports Director Josh Hobbs '24 produced the award-winning game open that aired at the conclusion of the station's "Countdown to Kickoff" pregame show before the rivalry football game.
