Gayogo̱hó:nǫʔ : Who We Are
with Michelle Seneca (Turtle Clan Gayogo̱hó:nǫʔ), Stephen Henhawk (Wolf Clan Gayogo̱hó:nǫʔ) and Jim Wikel (Wolf Clan Gayogo̱hó:nǫʔ)

We are Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ (People Of The Great Swampy Place). We are Ǫgwehǫ́:weh, The Original People of this land, part of the Hodinǫhsǫ́:nih Confederacy, more commonly known as the Six Nations. Due to systemic displacement and erasure we are scattered. There are Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ People in Canada, New York, Oklahoma, and all over the United States but our spirits are part of this land. This land is Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀgeh. We are the land. The land is us.

The Gayogo̱hó:nǫʔ Learning Project is a project of the Center for Transformative Action.
