What measures are in place for the safety of my student?

Safety is a top priority at Ithaca College. The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round, while providing police, security, fire, medical, and dispatch services. The Office of Public Safety partners with all of the Ithaca College community to promote safety through education and prevention. The college has over 100 blue light phones on campus, it offers self-defense programs, and provides escorts to students who feel unsafe at any time. Residence Halls are secured by an electronic “card” access-based system 24 hours a day and the residence halls are patrolled nightly by Resident Assistants.
