Jeff Selingo began his journey in higher education at Ithaca College, graduating with a bachelor of arts in journalism in 1995. While at IC, he served as editor of The Ithacan, and received the Campus Life Award his senior year. After IC, he attended Johns Hopkins University, graduating with a master in government in 2001. Jeff then spent 20 years covering higher education as a journalist, 16 of which at The Chronicle of Higher Education. He's the author of four books on higher education, penned a regular column for The Washington Post, and travels the globe sharing his thoughts on the subject. He also served as the special advisor to the president at Arizona State University, and was a visiting scholar at Georgia Tech’s Center for 21st Century Universities. Jeff joined the Ithaca College board of trustees in 2017 and currently co-chairs the marketing & enrollment strategy committee.
