Service Projects Led By Our Student Leadership Team
In addition to the projects listed above, our student leadership team has also come up with various service projects. In the past, they have made rosaries to donate to the Ithaca Rescue Mission, an organization working with the homeless in Ithaca. They have also donated to Thrive for Life Prison Project, an organization run by Zach Presutti, S.J. who works with inmates in the New York City Area to provide care for those in jail and in their transition out of jail. The Catholic Community has gone to Syracuse to work with A Tiny Home for Good, an organization that builds homes for homeless men in Syracuse. They have also donated blankets to the Every Child Deserves a Bed Project in New York where they have made blankets for children in need. Finally, they have also made tie blankets for the Cayuga Medical Center.
Our service projects vary each semester but they are available for students to get involved with at any time! Contact our Service and Social Justice Co-Chairs on our leadership team Brigita Przyblyski (email@example.com) or Jack Warren (firstname.lastname@example.org) to find out about what the service and social justice committee has planned for the upcoming year!
