From Struggles to Strength: Advocacy in Tough Jewish Moments

Judaism has nearly always faced baseless hatred. However, as Jews, we must take this in our stride. This event will include personal and historic stories of how we have overcome anti-semitic issues and events in ways it has made us stronger as a people.

This is the second workshop of the Pro-Semitism Series hosted by the Jewish Student Union. This program is encouraged for both Jewish and non-Jewish students, staff and faculty members.

Who are we?: Understanding the Jewish People and Identity

The foundation of advocacy and allyship is understanding identity. Encouraged for both Jews and non-Jewish allies, this dialogue will unpack and redefine the meaning of Judaism and the idea of a Jewish Identity in the 21st Century.

Know Your Rights: LGBTQ+ Rights Under the NYS Human Rights Law

IC's LGBT Center is pleased to partner with the state Division of Human Rights and with LGBTQ+ serving organizations throughout our region for a session to inform the LGBTQ+ community, in particular transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals, of their rights under the Human Rights Law. The event will take place Oct 22 at 6 pm.

Back by popular demand, The Office of Student Engagement presents IC's Leadership Summit. Earn 3 SLI credits in any track of your choosing for attending. In tandem with this year's theme of "Establishing Roots", this summit will take place virtually on October 17th from 12:00 PM - 2:15 PM (EDT). Join us for an afternoon of engaging Student Leadership Institute tracks of your choice as you hear from a variety of speakers of the different stages of becoming a leader.
