In February, students worked with CNN to cover the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary.  In March, students worked with Memphis NPR affiliate WKNO-FM to cover Super Tuesday. While in Memphis, students produced spot news stories as well as numerous feature news stories on subjects such as: Civil Rights and the National Civil Rights Museum's role in an election, an interview with the Chair of the Shelby County (Memphis) Republican Party, Dr. Jill Biden visits Memphis to campaign for her husband Joe Biden, religion and politics, and what college students thought of the candidates. Their stories aired during the local segments of NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
