This exclusive seminar for first-year Park Scholars serves as a foundation for the Park Scholars' subsequent media studies and service commitments and creates opportunities for Park Scholars to discover personal connections between creative, accountable, trustworthy media production and the responsibility Park Scholars share for the well-being of their communities. Class meetings combine student led discussions, topical readings, and conversations with guests who share their own stories of how they use media to do good in the world and how they tell the stories of people and issues that are too often unseen and unheard.
