Working alone or in collaboration with their peer Scholars or a faculty mentor, Park Scholars often apply for and receive funding to pursue research and service interests outside the classroom. These Scholars then share the knowledge they've gained from their experiences with other Park Scholars at an end-of-year colloquium.

Each spring, Park Scholars take to the podium to deliver presentations on how various media make a difference in the local community at the College’s prestigious campus-wide James J. Whalen Academic Symposium.
