My name is Liz and I am a senior journalism major with minors in counseling, politics, and interdisciplinary studies (the Honors program). This year, I will be working with the Megaphone Group service project as a communications volunteer for the Women’s Opportunity Center, which promotes self-sufficiency and employment for women in the Ithaca area. I will also be continuing in my role as a volunteer leader in Young Life Tompkins County, a youth ministry organization that is aimed at promoting mentoring relationships with high school students. Outside of these commitments, I am a copy editor for The Ithacan, a Big in the Ithaca Honors program, and serve as a worship leader, council member, and Treasurer for the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. Outside of school, I am a part-time nanny for a six-month-old baby and work as a native content creator for the social media platform Love What Matters, where I am responsible for finding and posting content that promotes hope, healing, compassion, kindness, and support across their seven social media platforms.
