My name is Liz and I am a senior journalism major with minors in counseling, politics, and interdisciplinary studies (the Honors program). This spring, I am the group facilitator for Device Advice, which seeks to provide technical advice and troubleshooting for residents at the Kendal at Ithaca residential living facility. I will also be continuing in my role as a volunteer leader in Young Life Tompkins County, a youth ministry organization that is aimed at promoting mentoring relationships with high school students. Additionally, I am excited to be presenting original research about how the media frames perpetrators of mass shootings at the 2021 virtual NCUR Conference in April. Outside of these commitments, I am a member of the Sinfonietta orchestra, a copy editor for The Ithacan, a Big in the Ithaca Honors program, and serve as a worship leader, CORE retreat leader, council member, and Treasurer for the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
